Role and Responsibilities:
  • Develop relationships with the existing supplier base
  • Attend meetings to identify emerging trends
  • Maintain communication with the supplier base, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action
  • Work closely with the footwear team across all categories to understand the department
  • Ensure excellent communication and interaction with other departments within the business
  • Develop and maintain good collaborative relationships with the Merchandising team
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Research trips to our Stores, competitors and aspirational Stores to provide key information on new trends to the rest of the team

Your profile:
  • Previous experience working within a multi-channel Retailer
  • Understand key footwear and market trends
  • Have passion for Men’s footwear and fashion
  • Demonstrate proactivity in sourcing new ideas and inspiration
  • Strong planning and analytical skills
  • Be highly organised
  • Have passion and drive to succeed in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Must hold a full clean UK driving license and passport

What we offer:

This is an opportunity to work across our largest department in Buying – Mens Footwear and will report into our Footwear Director.  You’ll be responsible for a number of brands with the support of the Footwear Buyer and Buying department.

You’ll work on projects to grow the category and having a direct influence in the department with cross functional initiatives to drive brand differentiation working with marketing, digital and retail teams.
